Barrie Bulls HC is thrilled to present Camp Maxxing, the ultimate late-summer development camp designed specifically for young athletes looking to elevate their game before the season officially begins. Running from August 17th to 20th at the Allandale Recreation Centre, this intensive 4-day camp is perfectly timed to get players back into peak hockey shape just one week before the winter season rolls out. 🌟 What Our Camp Encompasses Camp Maxxing isn't your average summer skate—it is a highly focused, fast-paced development program built to break bad habits and build elite foundations. Here is what sets us apart: Elite 6:1 Player-to-Coach Ratio: We believe in quality over quantity. Our low player-to-coach ratio ensures your child won’t get lost in the crowd. Every player receives the individual eyes, attention, and guidance they need to succeed. Heavy Emphasis On Foundational Skills & Skating: Power skating, edge work, stride efficiency, puck control, and passing mechanics form the core of our daily curriculum. If you want to play fast, you have to master the basics. Real-Time Correction: Our coaches don't just blow whistles; they actively teach. Players receive immediate, on-the-fly feedback and real-time corrections during drills so they can adjust, learn, and improve on the spot. The Ultimate Season Prep: Coming off the summer break, hitting the ice cold can be tough.
